We depart Hanoi for the winding mountain roads leading to Ha Giang Province, a land of towering limestone peaks and poetic rural life. Day 2 – Jan 28. Quan Ba | Colors and Faces of the Highlands
Our morning unfolds in a lively market of Quan Ba , where vibrant fabrics, ethnic costumes, and genuine smiles fill your frame. Capture the rhythm and chaos of trading life — a playground for street and documentary photographers.
In the afternoon, we venture off-road to a hidden mountain village, rarely seen by outsiders. Here, our Ha Giang photography workshop focuses on portraiture and storytelling — connecting deeply with the people who make this land extraordinary.
Day 3 – Jan 29. Quan Ba to Dong Van | Crafts and Quiet Valleys
This morning, we photograph an age-old handicraft tradition in Quan Ba — where skilled hands and patient artistry tell timeless stories.
By afternoon, we drive through jaw-dropping passes toward Dong Van, pausing in a serene valley village. During our relaxed photo walk, we document daily life — farmers returning from the fields, children laughing, and smoke curling softly from mountain homes.
Day 4 – Jan 30. Lung Cu and the ethnic Villages | At the Edge of Vietnam
Today’s focus is on history and culture. We start with another colorful highland market, followed by a visit to the H’mong King’s Palace, a masterpiece of architecture and heritage.
