Day 1. Hanoi – Ban Phung

Today we journey to Ban Phung, home to community of the Red Dzao people. Our drive takes us uphill, surrounded by scenic rice terraces and mountains.

After lunch at our homestay, we explore the community of Ban Phung with our camera. Our focus is on portraiture.

Day 2. Ban Phung – Giang Phin

A morning for portraiture of the Red Dzao in Ban Phung.

After lunch in Sapa, we continue further to reach Giang Phin, a community of the H’mong. This afternoon, we’ll explore the community of Giang Phin.

Day 3. Giang Phin – Ngai Thau

This morning we will be doing portraiture in the community of GIang Phin.

After lunch, drive in the direction of Ngai Thau. This afternoon spend our time exploring the villages near Ngai Thau.

Day 4. Ngai Thau full day

A full day to photograph the landscapes and people of Ngai Thau.

Day 5. Mountain market. Drive to Hanoi

This morning, participate in the once a week market, where you see different colorful minorities. After lunch, we head for Hanoi, completing a 5-day photographic journey with lots of shots depicting local life in the mountains of northern Vietnam.
